Mystical Footsteps (Concrete) by Cooper Production
This piece of music is call a Concrete. I did this for my Recording class here at DSU. This consisted of sound effects I have record and edited and a piece of music I made in Reason 5. This was all mix together in Pro-tools. Please listen to this first before reading any farther.
I really wasn't sure at first what to do for this project, until one day I was walking home from my classes and heard leaves plowing across the road. This gave off an interesting sound, which sounded like a pet scraping at your door, but much more gentle. Overall though, the idea that came to me when I heard this was different sound of Nature as you are walking.
All these sound effects, except for two, were capture outside while taking a little nature walk here in Madison, SD. One of the other sound effects was somebody making the humming whistle sound in the the mic and along with wind produced by a fan. As for the other one, was a group of people snapping and rubbing there hands together to make rain sound. In addition, that sound effect also has a water fountain added to the sound.
List of sounds record: Rain, Wind, campfire, Rock dropping into the pound, stick banging on metal, Jumping on the bridge, dropping rocks on the bridge, rubbing my finger on bark, and Footsteps of pavement, and leaves.

Rave Night Completed
Rave Night (Robot Voice Final) by Cooper Production
"Rave Night" is complete music wise! My voice and the music are finally together in one file! I hope you guys like this song as much as I had fun production it. This song really right now to me is my best work yet. I do still plan on doing a video for it, and putting it in surround sound.
Inspiration to making Rave Night:
LED lights, smoke machines, Strobe light, Glow sticks, people dancing and an awesome DJ is what inspired me to make “Rave Night”. I have liked techno music for about 3 years and have been to about 5 raves in that time. Therefore, I have listen to a lot of different Techno pieces and “Rave Night” is my third techno piece I have made. In addition, another big inspiration for “Rave Night” was the Blue Man Group doing “Time to start”, which is a song about what to do at a rock concert. The phrases Blue Man Group says during the song, help me come up with the lyrics to “Rave Night”.
My voice Record and produced in Pro-tools. I recorded myself and I mixed it my self. The voice is on four different Tracks. One is the main voice, and the other three are different effects add too my voice. The effects I use in in those three tracks are a Phaser (Left ear), Delay (Inverse), and Reverb (Right ear). On all the tracks though, they all have a Robotic effect on them, which is called iZoNectoar. It is a plug-in that helps your voice match the genera it is being mix with.

DAD 498 Project: Rave Night
Rave Night Part 1 by Cooper Production
I am creating this song for my college class, DAD 498. This is project is worked on throughout the whole semester. Therefore, this song is not done yet, but will get done overtime. I just thought it would be good to give you a taste of what I am working on.
My idea for this song is very Rave, Techno, and DJ influenced. In fact, when I am all done there will be a voice, and video for this project. Right now though, this just a little bit of the music. I just want it to flow through your mind and let your body take control. I say that because this is what I do at a Rave or any other musical performance I go to where I can dance. In addition, when I listen to techno music, on a walk, it really give me that feeling that I can do anything that I put my mind to. Overall, when you listen just let this happen: "Let the music flow through your body and give you energy for the rest of the Rave Night."

Final Version Of MysteryDanceTechno Song

Here is my final version of Mystery Dance Techno Song and the name is Nightmare Moon Remix Rhapsody. It took awhile to complete only because I got really busy over the summer, when I first started to make it. This song was mostly my own thoughts and creation; however, there is one song that I took a listen to when I got stuck, which is "Odsyee" by Manian Heat. Overall, this is my first Techno song that I made for myself and I had fun making, but it was also tough. Let me know what you think.
What I used:
Made it in Reason again. Used a lot of Combinators, Arpeggiators, Redrum, and Thor (Bass Line). My siren sound was made in Thor/Combinator. Found out how to make it on Youtube. Hope you guys like it and wouldn't be surprised if you started dancing!!!

Mystery Techno Dance
Mystery Techno Dance by Cooper Production
Here is a new Song in Techno style! This is not finished yet, but I thought I would give you guys something to listen to. Hope to finish it soon; however, I don't know when that will be finished with work and all.
Made it in Reason again. Used a lot of Combinators, Arpeggiators, Redrum, and Thor (Bass Line). My siren sound was made in Thor/Combinator. Found out how to make it on Youtube. Hope you guys like it and wouldn't be surprised if you started dancing!!!

Techno Crazy Beats song for an Animation
Techno Crazy Beats by Cooper Production
This is the longest piece I have done yet!!! This piece of music was for one of my friend's animation video. the music goes along very well and you will be able to see it once I put the two together. This animation is very random and so is the music, but it all goes together nicely.
I have created it with reason 5 using: Redrum, Kong, Combinator, and a lot of the Arpeggiators. It is crazy, but it fits. My Redrum has 7 different beats that I use throughout the whole music. The Kong is for sound effects to change each new scene in the animation. Combinator is the main line. There is also a Bass and both Combinator and Bass line have Arpeggiators effect to it. When you look at in reason, looks like a lot of work went into it, which there was. The best part to look at and that makes your head hurt is the back side where all the cords are to hocked up to each rack of instruments (it is messy).
Hope you like the music and can't wait to show you guys the animation that goes with it!!! Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!!!
